Her words of advice: Never critique a destination until you have been there at least 24 hours. In that time, you will find some aspect of the culture, people, cuisine, or architecture that you will fall in love with. That is the secret to successful traveling!
Whether she is abroad with her family or escorting groups of 100+ travelers, Kari loves to see the friendships that blossom from travel. There is nothing quite like the camaraderie that develops when people come together as strangers, and leave as close traveling companions!
Although there wasn’t much opportunity for her to travel as a child, Kari is now certainly well-traveled! For her, anywhere can be a favorite destination, as long as there is personal growth. Whether it is exploring the animals on the Galapagos Islands, experiencing different cultures in Cuba, to taking in the pristine beauty of Italy – you will only benefit by taking the time to explore the world!
When she is not working tirelessly in the office, you can find Kari at her summer home in Green Lake; enjoying being on the lake with friends and family.
