It all started with a trip to Hong Kong many years ago. Jackie and her husband were so blown away by the experienced, engaging, and capable travel advisor they used, that Jackie decided to become one! So into the Travel Industry she went!
28 years later, Jackie still has the same drive; To help people experience amazing destinations. She feels strongly that travel is a gift and treasures all of the experiences of those whom she has helped throughout the years. She has weathered many storms in the travel industry throughout her career, but she still loves how every day is different and she never knows what challenges she will be helping to solve.
You would be hard pressed to find someone as well traveled as Jackie. So when she says that one of her favorite destinations is in New Zealand because of the amazing and friendly people, it makes you want to start packing.
You will often find her biking with her husband and spending time with her 9 grandchildren. She also has extended family in South Africa that she keeps in touch with.
Jackie’s extensive knowledge of River Cruising, both personal experience and in helping others has made her a valuable part of the Bon Voyage Team and we will miss her immensely when she retires October of this year.
